The railway rails are meant for the movement of the rolling stock of railways, trams, metro trains, etc. They form a rail track and directly take up pressure of the rolling stock wheels.
According to the quality categories, the rails are divided into:
ДТ370ИК — highly wear-resistant differentially thermally strengthened;
ОТ370ИК — volumetrically highly wear-resistant differentially thermally strengthened;
ДТ350ВС – differentially thermally strengthened for high-speed passenger traffic;
ДТ350СС— differentially thermally strengthened for combined high-speed traffic;
ОТ350СС— volumetrically thermally strengthened for combined high-speed traffic;
ДТ350НН—differentially thermally strengthened of low-temperature reliability;
ОТ350НН—volumetrically thermally strengthened of low-temperature reliability;
ДТ350 — general-purpose differentially thermally strengthened;
ОТ350 —general-purpose volumetrically thermally strengthened;
НТ320ВС —non-thermally strengthened for high-speed passenger traffic;
НТ320 — general-purpose high-strength non-thermally strengthened;
НТ300 — general-purpose increased-strength non-thermally strengthened;
НТ260 — general-purpose general-strength non-thermally strengthened.
The railway rails for tracks of the industrial railway transport are meant for laying on the railway wide-gauge tracks and for turnouts of the industrial enterprises.
Their tolerances on sizes and strength characteristics are wider as compared with the main rails.
The switch point rails are used in the components of railway track structure as well as for manufacturing of turnouts for the railway tracks of the industrial enterprises and the circular rails of the excavator swing bearings.
